It also carries the stamp "Gestzl Gesch" insuring it is in fact manufactured in Germany. This instrument we estimate is from the 1980s.This harmonica has Nickel plated Brass covers (old school)The comb is pearwood, the slide is straight,Nickel plated, 12 holesIt has a 3 octave tonal range. This one is in the key of C. This instrument is used, and there are areas that reflect this. looking at the pictures you can see where there is wear to the plating, it occurs along the back edge of the top cover, probably from cupping the instrument, and at two places on the bottom cover, where the thumbs may have rested. There is also a missing cover post, but this can be replaced.This model harmonica is no longer in production, but fortunately parts are still available. So if you are a collector, grab this one before they they become impossible to find.
