Description: Vintage HESS’S Department Store 1st Annual Golf Classic White Polo Shirt Men's Size Large Soft cotton polo shirt. In the mid 1990s (1993 or 1994) Hess's Department Stores held it's First Annual Golf Classic. I was able to attend this event and enjoy a activity with Hess's Department Store team members. Hess's was sold in the summer - fall of 1994 and there was never a 2nd Golf Classic. • Label Size L - Men's Large (Please review measurements below and compare against current shirts.)• Width across chest under arms 22 inches, Around chest is 44 inches • Length from front collar / neck to bottom of shirt in front 24.25 inches Condition: This shirt has issues. a. Dark dot below the logo. b. Upper left side (same as logo) some light brown dots / marks. There are less but there is also a light spot on the upper right hand below shoulder. c. Last minor under arm light stains, which surprised me since I only worn it one day during the event. I have washed it twice and while the brown stains got lighter and the dot below the logo stayed the same. While flawed this is a rare item since only 80-120 people participated in the golf event.
