Description: Wonderful handmade craft, often referred to as trench art which was made by soldiers during wartime, often with objects found in the battlefield. This one has two ammo shells joined together with a carved wooden heart. There is a very faded picture of a young woman who was perhaps a sweetheart of the soldier. There's no way of knowing where and when it was made, of course, although I'm inclined to think WWI. The base is 3 1/4" x 6" and the entire piece is 6" tall. Photos were taken at different times of day so there are variations in lighting. Some of our larger or heavier items may be shipped by Fed Ex depending on buyer's location.
