Description: VINTAGE Hand Carved Wooden African Lion Sculpture Figure 4.5" - Indigenous Art This is a VINTAGE hand-carved African lion. It's made out of a hard wood that has been stained and varnished a dark color. It is beautifully crafted and the workmanship is amazing. He is in EXCELLENT CONDITION overall, but there is a small chip at the end of the tail (see last photo). There is also a little wear on the back of the mane, where the varnish has begun to fade. He is 4.5 inches long and 3 inches high. The perfect addition to any wooden animal collection, or just because he's awesome!
