Description: This hand carved cedar jewelry box is from a local woman's estate. It is in very good condition except that the wood in the bottom has started to split on the grain due to drying from age, but that does not affect its usability. The box has a mirror inside the lid. The lid is hinged with a hasp in the front. Wooden handles. The picture on the top depicts a musical scene fom the late 1700's or early 1800's.
