Description: Vintage GI Joe Adventure Team - Talking Commander (set # 7400, 1970-73). Vintage piece. This is an (R) Joe with the patent number. Brown flocked hair and beard. Original flock has some rubs (see pictures). Typical stress cracks associated with these 1970's Joes - shoulder cups are still pretty tights and legs are typically a little looser which is common for these talkers. He can stand on his own no problem. The hands are reproduction hands - very similar to the originals. This Commander talks well - good speed - all phrases can be understood. The pull string has the original bead chain but no dog tag. 2nd issue talking commander clothes with the two-pocket long jacket. 2 snaps on the jacket and one snap on the pants. No rips or tears on either piece - as you can see fading and discoloration on each. The vintage short black boots are in displayable shape - some play wear (nicks/marks/scuffs).
