Description: This is a Black Forest Cuckoo Clock from West Germany. It is in what appears to be complete working order. I have wound it and taken video to show that the internal mechanisms are working as they should. This clock has been in my family for about 100 years as it was my grandmothers and was passed down to her from her mother. I am not 100% certain on the date but it is early 1900’s. Inside is stamped “made in Germany” as is some scratched writing and numbers on the metal inside. PENDULUM INCLUDED: The pendulum is included but was mistakenly not replaced when cleaning the clock for video and various photos - which is why in some of my pictures the pendulum is not showing and in others it is visible. LOCATION: Currently hanging on the wall in my family home. TIMING/SEQUENCE: This antique clock is out of sync and will need to be properly wound and set. I have NOT attempted to do this aside from winding it some to show that it works and is mechanically sound. ORIGIN: Made in Germany MEASURES: 21” in length (from base to top of antlers). 12” in max width (from side to side). Chains hang approx 5 1/2 ft. CONDITION: Shows signs of wear due to age in the form of nicks, scratches, discoloration, small cracks and or other blemishes to be expected with an item of this age. This is not new, it is antique, please review my pictures and video and feel free to ask for more pictures if needed. This clock appears to be in working condition. The cuckoo birds have small chips on them and show signs of wear. The bucks antlers appear to be like new as does the intricate details that comprise the face of the clock (again aside from slight discoloration and or scratching and nicks found). Some of the pieces exhibit signs of repair. The clock’s numbers are glued and there is texture on the black behind the numbers as opposed to staining. It’s a unique clock that shows serious signs of age as above the clock the parts are very old, some of the other components on the clock however appear to have been possibly replaced or worked on at some point approx 60 years ago. Overall: VERY GOOD to GOOD condition! SHIPPING: Fast & free via USPS Priority (in the USA) - will require signature upon arrival. Same day shipping if payment is received by 3pm (EST).
