Description: A beautiful length of vintage French shabby cottage floral cotton. Marvelous old pattern of florals accented with stripes & equally lovely is it's palette of pinks, greens & yellows accented with gray. Very overcast so it appears a bit paler than it is in person, it is somewhat overall softened but clearer better coloring, slightly more vivid tones in person. Photos 7 & 8 show the hues best on my monitor. This is denser cotton with a barkcloth like linen type weave. A wonderful example of trending French cottage florals from this period, about 1940's/50's time frame. Condition is very nice for its's age. I've done nothing to this but appears clean. Very overcast today but I'd say colors are best in the 1st photo. Overall more softened tones which is marvelous on this sweet piece. Perfect for interior pieces, pillows, bags, small upholstery pieces etc.. ***Measures~ 50" wide by 38” long. My very last length of this one. Many thanks! I sell antique and vintage fabric.
