Description: This vintage negligee is just exquisite! Featuring a loose unstructured silhouette,this has side bust darts, sash belt, andsheer lace flutter sleeves. With a dropwaist, this can also be bloused and worn at the natural waist. Made of a luxurious silk satin charmeuse, this nightgown is lightweight and supple. With a lace pocket and a ruffled ankle length hemline, this has a wide bateau neckline and no closures. An authentic vintage item circa late1920’s or early 1930’s (or perhaps earlier?) it has side belt loops and a luminous finish. There is also a lovely lace appliqué near the neck. The silksash is not original, but was custom made. In very good condition, this dress has a few very pale stains near the front waist (I almost missed them, and they do not show in the photos).Timelessly elegant, this almost certainly was part of a high quality trousseau of a very lucky bride.
