Description: For sale is this vintage full brim FiberMetal SuperGlass fiberglass safety hard hat. In good used vintage collector condition. It has a chin strap. The plastic suspension liner looks nice but the plastic is old and has some cracks, and will crack more if you take the liner out and try to put it back in. The part of the liner that connects to the helmet is what's cracking, and as of now there are two of those pieces are cracked (see photos). The rivets that it latches onto that are affixed to the helmet are also plastic and may be brittle as well (but appear to be in good condition visually). So this helmet is sold as is for collector item only, in collector condition. Not intended for actual use. There are a couple rough spots on the brim edge and I took a close-up photo of that. The metal chrome parts riveted onto the outside of the helmet have rusted and chrome is flaking off. The cosmetic condition of this hard hat is in pretty nice condition with very minimal scuffs. It displays very nice but not perfect or mint. I am offering his hard hat sold as is.
