When I tested it, the movement didn’t start right away… but with a gentle push on the rotating piece on the base, it started right up. The motor does sound loud while it is playing but I am not sure how to make that go away. Otherwise this is an adorable RARE vintage piece. Box has some age spots and marks and scuffs from age and being in storage
