Description: This handsome, vintage Rothenthal nutcracker was purchased in Germany in the 1980s. It was proudly displayed during the holidays every year, but it is now in search of a new home. The quality hardwood and original printing on the bottom of the base attest to its authenticity. There are no broken or missing parts. There are minor chips I could have easily repaired but decided it was better for it to remain in its original form as I did not think they distracted from the charm.
