Description: Up for sale is this Daiwa VIP 2-piece 72 in. spinning rod. The rod has been cleaned and I rubbed in a layer of a clear coat for future protection. These rods were made to withstand saltwater. The blank is made with the shock absorbing E-Glass. The E-Glass blanks are very rugged. There are 5 guides (including the tip). All guides and windings are in-tact and tight. However, the second guide from the handle has the plastic/ceramic eye missing. Didn’t have time to replace it. Still works fine. Line Weight: 8-15 lbs. Grip Style: Split -- Rear Grip Length 6 1/2 in. -- Fore Grip Length 2 1/2 in. The rod weighs 5.1 oz.
