Description: Hello all, Here we have an awesome gold mining themed belt buckle. This is in used condition and has some wear but is still in solid shape. There is some west on the metal and a couple inflections in the center. Buckle is from the Dahlonega, GA gold mining area. My father worked in the area in the late 60’s so assume he got it on one of his trips during that time. A miner himself, he has always been into coal and gold mining history. There is gold flake in the center along a little pick and shovel. I can’t say if they are made from gold or not, as there is no paperwork and dad doesn’t remember. This one is uncleaned, so it should clean up pretty nice it you so wish. It’s just been on a shelf for the last 20 years at my place being used as a cool shelf sitter!! Thanks for looking, Bob
