Description: Vintage, new old stock, 1976 Coppercraft Guild Hanging Shelf/Wall Plaque. The shelf was made to hold Coppercraft utensils which were sold separately but they are not included with this shelf. Made of their patented "Guildwood" (mixture of plastic & wood pulp) the shelf measures 17" wide, 10" from top to bottom and 2 1/2" from front to back. It features a narrow brown wood-look shelf with a teapot, cream pitcher and trivet decorations painted a copper color along the back. Beneath the shelf is a copper plated steel rod to hang towels, herbs, utensils etc. Two sawtooth hangers are attached to the back to hang it. The back of the shelf is embossed with the company name, Dart Ind. Coppercraft, year, piece #7460 and made in USA. The original foil sticker is also on the back. The shelf is in excellent condition but does have a few spots of discoloration on the trivet from age. I have included a photo of the item as printed in the original catalog.
