Description: small antique southwest plate-style buckle.i don't know enough to say what this buckle is made of. there are some duplicates here on ebay that claim brass. but they also have the antiquated tab on the back for use with an "D-ring" type attachment rig or using a belt with slots instead of holes..i'm going with copper. but maybe bronze.there other similar buckles that claim to be made by Siskiyou or Bergamot. i see no evidence (ala stamp) of that here.regardless, it is really old and pretty and unique in that it attaches to today's more prevalant style belts with a prong/stud. belt diameter is 3 1/8 x 1 7/8 inches.will fit a belt or one with tapered ends of 1 3/8 inches. holler with any questions,d
