Description: This beautifully appointed gold rimmed black transferware serving bowl is perfectly displayed on an intricately carved hardwood stand. This large serving bowl is a limited edition of Italian transferware in black unlike the usual blue that was produced. The bowl measures approximately 9-3/8” x 4” with the backstamp reading Copeland Spode’s Italian England. The outside diameter on the hardwood stand measures approximately 8-1/2” with an inside diameter of 7”. The bowl appears to show normal wear commensurate with age as does the wood stand.
