This is an electro-mechanical watch which means it has elements of a traditional manual wind/automatic watch, but uses a battery and transistors as well--It is a hybrid technology and should not be considered to function in the same way as does an automatic. The date and day can be set using the crown (When the watch is held upright, date correction becomes possible, while held upside down day correction is possible using push in crown quickset). 37 mm case. There are light signs of wear and use to the case, crystal, caseback, and aftermarket bracelet that are to be expected on a 49 year old watch.
