Description: This stunning vintage necklace from Native American Navajo artist Charlie John features a beautiful asymmetrical pendant with a striking Morenci turquoise. The necklace is made of sterling silver and has a bezel setting style with a hook and eye closure. The pendant features a detailed leaf design with raindrops, swirls, and squash blossom at the top. The Navajo pearls are hand made, graduated in size, and accented by hand made barrel pearls. The necklace is 22 inches in length with an additional 3 inch drop for the pendant and has two gemstones, both of which are stabilized Morenci turquoise to maintain that gorgeous blue shade. This necklace is from the late 1970’s, and was part of my grandmother’s Native American collection. She bought directly from the artist and kept this as one of her favorites. This piece is perfect for those who appreciate beauty, nature, art, bohemian, and ethnic styles. It is also a great addition to any jewelry collection and is handmade in the United States.
