Description: Vintage Cast Iron Lion In The Jungle Door Stop This vintage cast iron doorstop features a lion standing in front of a leafy green background. The background has yellow highlights and is molded in to grass and leaves making it reminiscent of a jungle. It measures approximately 5.5"8" and is approximately 2.25" wide at the thickest part. This is heavy duty, but there is some oxidation on the bottom and back. The paint on the front is in relatively good condition with a tiny bit of discoloration at the very top on the leaves, please review all pictures. This doorstop is a rare design that is hard to find, with only one other example to go from. My best guess is this piece dates to the 1970's but I do not know for sure. It is stamped with a number 2 on the back and has a "Made in Taiwan R.D.C." sticker as well. This is a great decorative doorstop with a fun folksy vibe. This piece is sold in AS-IS condition.
