Description: IF ABLE TO PICK UP LOCALLY, (zip 90275 So.California), SHIPPING WILL BE REFUNDED RIGHT AFTER PICK UP. These two colorful macaws were purchased in 1999 in Rarotonga, Cook Islands, but they were made in Bali. Cook islanders do terrific intricate wood carvings, but they are in the Maori style, generally with no color. Both in very good condition, slight imperfection on head of red bird. These wood carvings are quite realistic, unlike Caribbean carvings of tropical birds, which are more stylized. These macaws will be a great addition to tropical decor and feel right at home in a Tiki room. This listing is just for BIRDS ONLY, no loops or stands. These birds came without any device in order to be able to display them, although they both do have a small perforation which seems to indicate they would be mounted, maybe on a hoop that can be hanging or on a pole. The loops and post stands you see in some photos are not included, they are homemade, you may be able to come up with a better idea. Including them would require a very large box which would result in shipping cost higher than the birds themselves. Dimensions: blue green macaw is 20” tall, and red macaw is 16”, both solid wood, which accounts for the shipping cost.
