Description: Cardboard box with its original bar soap contents of Rokeach Kosher Kitchen Soap, made with pure coconut oil, may be used for Passover, made by I. Rokeach & Sons, Inc,. Farmingdale, NJ. Box measures 4 1/8" x 2 1/4" x 1 3/8" and hard to see it says the soap is 4 1/2 ounces.. There is a bar of soap in the box. Same design on the front and back and same design on the two short end pieces. The two long ends have slightly different designs. The box is undated but after listing this item on ebay, I received an email from the great grandson of the founder of the company informing me that since the soap was made after the Farmingdale NJ plant was opened, it had to have been made after 1940. Since there is no zone code or zip code in the address of Rokeach, my guess is that this is from the early 1940's but it could be into the early 1960's.. Condition is very good-I have no problems to point out. I do see that on one end, someone has written $1.00 and I think that was a resale price and not the actual price in the store. There are a few bars of vintage Rokeach bar soap on ebay but none is like mine.
