Description: This is definitely a Vintage B&W postcard of Smolny, the Bolshevik Revolutionary Headquarters in 1917. Card is Soviet Era Leningrad, unposted, and although undated, I'm, going to hazard a guess, based upon clothing styles, some time in the 1930's (Totally an educated guess, could be anytime from 1920's to 1960's. The penciled in price of $4.50 from some time ago, also leads me to believe it is older rather than sooner! Description is in French, English and Russian(almost as an afterthought) so apparently made for European and American tourists (US opened diplomatic relations with the Soviet Union in 1933). Shipped via USPS eBay envelopeProceeds benefit Ukrainian Humanitarian Aid I am in the process of listing a HUGE collection of antique, vintage postcards and souvenir cards: American landmarks, New England, NYC, California, Eastern Europe, Russia, United Kingdom, Western Europe,Far East, Caribbean.Churches, Libraries, Architecture, Individuals, landmarks, events!
