Description: Up for sale is this nice Brule Custom Crafted spinning rod. The rod has been cleaned and fiberglass protectant has been applied to the blank and U-40 Cork Seal to the cork handle. The rod measures 7 ft. There are 6 guides including the tip top. All guides are nice and tight. The end of the rod has a slight bend due to somebody keeping the line hooked on too long. However, this won’t affect anything. There are no visible markings besides the sticker. From comparison it’s a medium action. Two brothers from Iron River, Wisconsin who worked for St. Croix Company left the company and went on their own to produce mostly fly rods, marketing themselves as “The Old St. Croix.” Brule rods were made for just a few years. All the rods they produced were of the highest quality. This rod is a nice example of the deep storied history of Wisconsin. Grip Style: Split -- Rear Grip Length 6 in. -- Fore Grip Length 3 in. The rod weighs 6.2 oz.
