Description: Such a pretty vintage brass plate! Not sure if this is a dogwood flower or not (though others call it a dogwood, I believe a dogwood has 4 petals, not 5.) This plate measures approximately 7.5" across and is very heavy (I think about 2 pounds!) It was made by the Philadelphia Manufacturing Company, likely in the 1950's to 1970's. The piece is in very good condition: there are signs of wear, a very small spot of discoloration on the face, and some very small darker spots near edge. Marked on the bottom with manufacturer's logo. An excellent addition to your MCM brass collection - and practical, too!
