Description: Vintage black oxide, gunmetal, Boye crochet hook made of steel. These hooks were made in the United States, around 1942. Another crochet hook seller says they were made for only 4 months in '42. One source said they were made from '42 to '44. I can't say exactly when they were made, because I wasn't around then. But most info I've found on these say they were made in 1942. Great for any crochet enthusiast looking to add to their collection. Good used condition, I believe they are usable, but probably better for collecting. Hooks have some wear from use/age, but still nice. Interesting pieces of crochet history.
