Description: This beautiful one-of-a-kind Patchwork rug makes it's way from the western park of Ushak. It features all over shades of yellow that have been overdyed with our special washing process. The original rug that the pieces came from have been far beyond repair, so we cut them into smaller pieces and we hand sew them together to create what is know now known as the Patchwork rug. All of our Patchwork rugs have a sturdy cotton cloth backside that protects the stitches and help the rug lie flat on the floor. This rug features an extremely dense, tightly woven wool pile with a solid cotton backside that is great for high traffic areas. Natural dyes and colors include: lemon yellow, sunshine yellow, ochre yellow, mustard yellow, and more. This hand made rug is made of non-shedding hand spun wool making it easy to clean, and making it incredibly soft to walk and lounge on. This densely woven wool rug contains natural oils called lanolin that naturally resist dirt and grime, therefore allowing it to look cleaner for much longer than synthetic rugs. Regular vacuuming will remove any dirt and grime, and allow you to enjoy your rug for many decades. We are a long time family run business based in the U.S. with direct support from our family in Turkey. We source our inventory directly from Turkey and the surrounding regions.
