Description: Vintage Bell Systems Western Electric Black Rotary Telephone (C/D 500) with Wall Plug - They sure don't make 'em like this anymore. This heavy-duty phone, which weigh about 4.7 pds., is a marriage of technology between the United States (which produced the telephone) and Japan (which produced the plug). The equipment appears to be in decent shape, but I NOT able to test it. Nor am I able to determine when it was manufactured. The rotary dial turns easily. There are scuff marks in various places and some blue coloring (paint?) at the left-and right-hand sides, the back area has what appears to be some type of tape residue; there are some scratches on the mouthpiece of the receiver; the bottom "legs" have some rust in and around them; the Ambulance Call sticker is only half present; black duct tape is wrapped around the wall plug.
