Description: Very nice and very large Bargello quilt in earth tone colors ranging from ivory to browns to orange to green, solids and florals. A Bargello quilt requires a skillset (that I do not have in a million years) to create an illusion of waves flowing. Using a mathematical formula and offsetting squares/rectangles strip sets, a Bargello quilt is magnificent to behold and a virtual work of art. The top is machine stitched together, but the quilting is by hand. There are two flaws that I found - first is about a two inch worth of fabric loss and second is a seam separation in one of the squares. It is through these openings that I am able to tell that the batting is polyester. So the quilt feels light because of the polyester, but at the same time, it feels heavy because of the large size. It measures approximately 108x104 and shown completely covering my puny queen bed.
