Description: the great turntable purge of '24 continues as I try to whittle down my inventory of 25-30 turntables bought for projects and restoration, to focus on only 10-12.... Bang & Olufsen B&O Beogram TX2 linear tracking turntable in very good used condition. Cosmetics are good, few small marks on plinth, clear part of cover is heavily scratched but no cracks, otherwise in excellent cosmetic condition. Testing showed that it starts up fine, speed is good...changes from 33 to 45 with no issues, lands on record in first groove where it should, plays, 33 and 45 light up on secondary tonearm, lift works, button to move tonearm across record works, auto-return at end of record works. Makes sound, sound was more prominent in right channel, still somewhat distorted, left channel very low/ more distorted. Sound improved when I placed slight finger pressure on tonearm. I tried my best to take photo of the cart and stylus, it is very small. So not sure if some adjustment is needed to tonearm, counterweight, interally or what exactly the issue is. So sold for parts and repair, no returns or refunds. Sold in the condition described, see pics and video as they are part of the item description.
