Description: Aynsley English Bone China 16" Oval Serving Platter in the Pembroke pattern with gold trim. The Pembroke pattern has been discontinued. It features a sprawling, brilliantly colored floral motif based on an Asian-inspired, 18th-century Aynsley design. The colors are vivid set against the background of the pure white bone china. The gold trim is flawless. The Aynsley brand is back-stamped on the bottom of the tureen. It reads: Est. 1778AYNSLEYMade in EnglandFine English Bone ChinaPembrokeReproduction of an Eighteenth Century Aynsley design This item is pre-owned and in Excellent Vintage Condition. There are no chips, nicks, crazing, or repairs. Please examine the photos taken from multiple angles to confirm the condition and description. There is one small spot of discoloration on the front of the platter that is very difficult to see. It's on the rim on the right side and it's about the size of a thumb print (enlarge the last photo to view it). I purchased this platter in the 1970's when I began collecting Aynsley china and Waterford crystal. It's only been used once or twice. It spent most of its life on a glass shelf in my china cabinet with my collection of Aynsley English bone china. I have others pieces for sale from my Aynsley Bone China collection.
