Description: This is a Vintage Autolite Universal Lamp Co Springfield, Illinois Coal Miners Brass Lamp. This Lamp is in Good Condition. It threads apart fine; the top lid opens and closes. There are dents in places from use and many trips down the mine. It appears all the parts are present. The reflector bell has damage from being dropped. See last picture. ***NOTE*** This Carbide lamp is in non-working / Untested condition and is for decoration, memorabilia, or restoration. I am not an expert, but with new flint, possibly a fresh gasket and a cleaning of the water tubes this lamp could work again. All the parts appear to be present. This Lamp is 4" tall by about 2" in diameter and weighs 6.3 OZ. Most of the items I sell are estate finds, and are presented to you in, as is, as found condition. They are described to the best of my knowledge. Some wear is to be expected, unless described as flawless or mint.
