Vintage Artistic Black, Grey and White Native American Seed Pottery Signed

Description: Up for bid is an original vintage pre-owned Artistic Black, Grey and White Native American Seed Pottery Signed. Found at a family estate sale. The family stated that their grandmother made frequent trips to New Mexico and Mexico between 1980-90s and would purchase artwork by the local people. The family believed this is a native American pottery that she purchased on one of her many trips to New Mexico. It is signed by the artist on the bottom. This is a very modern seed pot. Seed jars were originally designed to protect next year's seeds from rodents and had only a small opening. Later, artists paid homage to the seed jar by using the traditional shape but creating a wider opening at the top. This pot has a very beautiful design of shades of grey and black and white design. It measures about 6” tall and about 8” wide. Only used as a display in a China cabinet. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
