Has a heavy cast iron ring in the base stamped with the manufacturer's name, although it also has General Electric and Hubbell-branded parts as well. Of special note is that it still has it's original shade in excellent condition - most of these have missing or broken shades. An authentic replacement shade for a lamp of this type goes for close to what I am asking for the whole lamp! There are many photos, take a good look! This item has no cracks, chips, and is not wobbly, bent, or poorly put together. Has a few small dents on the base, which could be easily tapped out by removing the cast iron ring in the base and using a ball peen hammer and a piece of wood.
