I believe based on the markings on the underside is dated 9/76 for the production date on this item. Please do not purchase if this is a concern for you.Noted on the box, 1 Footed Cake Plate, 11 IN. DIA. Box is solid with some stain spots and wear marks on the surface as shown and partially removed original price tag on the top of the box. Please do not purchase if any of this is a concern for you.Cake plate has the scalloped edges and design pattern on the underside. Cake plate has no chips, cracks and only a few utensil marks on the top, otherwise a nice gloss finish and feel. Very nice condition overall. There is a light yellowing from where the base attaches to the plate in the center area and is from the original materials used for this product and have seen others listed with the same look/coloring in that area and underside. Please do not purchase if this is a concern for you.There are reflections from the lighting in some of the photos and not a flaw in the item and wanted to show gloss and surface condition with the various angles/photos provided.
