Description: Offering for sale….a Vintage antique ALL-LITE desk, vanity or table lamp…identification on bottom ‘ALL-LITE FLOURESCENT LAMP, Pat #, ALL-LITE MFG. CO, CHICAGO’. Lamp and shade are in BEAUTIFUL condition, no cracks or chips. Shade is not original but fits lamp very well and looks to be a shade that could’ve been sold with this collectible. Shade has a pleated look and is that of a heavy plastic, measuring 8” high , 5” at top and 9” at bottom. Metal shade support screws on rod into the lamp base and is topped with a beautiful Art Deco finial. Lamp screams Art Deco Skyscraper Appeal…atomic abstract architectural geometric embossed lines, very detailed with streamline design…material is that of marbled Bakelite, celluloid, lucite, acrylic, Carvanite or Catalin (I’m not an expert but guessing it’s one that I have listed). Base of lamp measures 6 1/2” round with metal bottom and tiered lamp stands 23” tall to the top of ivory finial. This beautiful collectible will display well in any decor be it nostalgic 50s, atomic Jetson’s Space Age flying saucer UFO futuristic 60s, funky 70s, Mid Century Modern, country farmhouse, rustic cabin, primitive, vintage, Art Deco, retro, Mid Mod, eclectic, Eames Era, Sputnik decor or iconic pop culture appeal. Will display well with Heywood-Wakefield furniture or any designer furniture by Frank Lloyd Wright, George Nelson, Herman Miller, Kimball or Ray and Charles Eames.
