Description: Very early Seymour Duncan Stag Mag humbucker pickup. It reads 16.6k (8.3k split ) on my meter. It is in excellent used condition. The plastic bobbins show just a little but of wear and age (please examine the pictures).Overall,I'd say this pickup really looks fantastic (especially considering it's over 40 years old). This Stag Mag is a hot humbucker that was designed to sound like a vintage staggered pole Strat pickup when split. This is an early example of this pickup model. The baseplate has no "Made in America" stamp. The hookup wires are right at 9" long. The original mounting screws are MIA and will not be included .Any Gibson styles humbucker screws will work. The earliest Seymour Duncan pickups are highly regarded for their quality, tone and construction. The new ones are not the same! Plus, age does some magic on these pickups that makes them sound even sweeter! This is a rare find! Get it while you can! This will be pro packed and shipped insured. I guarantee safe arrival! Check out my other items. Thanks!
