Description: Fantastic Vintage 70s maxi dress. Elastic shoulders can be worn on or off. Elastic babydoll waistline. No fabric content tag, but feels like a thicker cotton blend. I believe this is what they called kettle cloth (see photo with dress featured in a kettle cloth ad). Washes very nicely and I hung to dry. Has a slight overall faded look, that really complements its age. Very top of shoulders looks to be just a tad more faded, but this is only noticed on very close inspection. No stains, holes, or repairs. Rickrack trim is curled, and you may prefer to iron it flat. I think it looks cute as can be as is. No size tag Measurements taken lying flat: Shoulder to shoulder: 13” from center of puff sleeves when worn up. Elastic has a 27 inch stretch. Bust (armpit to armpit): 15” and stretched, 20” stretched. Elastic waist: 11” Unstretched, 19” stretched. Length (from top of puff sleeve if worn up) 55”, from elastic waist the skirt portion is 42.5” Another kind eBay seller allowed me to share the Kettle Cloth advertisement she found with this dress featured.
