Description: Offered for sale is this awesome Art Deco Era vintage carved Bakelite bracelet!! The bracelet is 3/4" wide with a 3/8" thick domed shape. If you take a look at photo #5, you'll see that the bracelet was originally a royal purple color. Over the decades since the bracelet was made, the patina has darkened to its current mahogany color. The bracelet has a 2.5" interior diameter; and weighs 40 grams. The bracelet has been decorated with beautiful vine and leaf carvings that circle the outside of the bracelet. The bracelet is a fantastic example of Art Deco jewelry design that was expertly executed by its maker. This vintage Bakelite bracelet is in excellent vintage condition and its authenticity was confirmed using Simichrome polish. (See photo #10) No chips or cracks to the bracelet were noted.
