Description: Description 2 Vintage Mustard pots w/ lids, one 20th century milk glass mustard container, and an older glazed pottery mustard pot, signed. These were the standard receptacle for Bocquet, a mustard maker in rural France. Founded in 1735 (hence the founding date on the pot) the company ceased production in 1992. In 1992, BSN decided to centralize its mustard production in Dijon and closed the Yvetot factory. Today, its premises are still visible in front of Yvetot station, and house various companies in a building nicknamed “La Moutardière” Both pots are in excellent condition , no spoons included. See photos for markings on bottom of older jar. Please view all pictures carefully, and ask questions prior to purchase as all items are sold as is. I do not ship outside the US.
