Description: This charming, one-of-a-kind two-piece set was handmade in 1976 and worn for a friend’s wedding, capturing the style of the era. The set includes a beautiful green floral halter dress paired with a matching bolero jacket featuring a solid green collar and cuffs. Two 1/2" fabric covered buttons are on the back neck closure, two on each cuff, and four on the jacket. The jacket also has extensions which tie in front which creates a flattering, fitted look. The ensemble is unlined. The fabric is a lightweight crepe or voile, so it’s nice and breezy. Since it was made for someone who’s 5'9", my mother (the talented seamstress behind this!) added six inches to the skirt length. There are even little pleats sewn at the bust for a better fit, which could easily be let out for a bit more room.
