All original packing must be included. # Up for Sale is a Vintage 1976 Guild D-35 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar! Made In Westerly Rhode Island, USA! This is really Cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1976 Guild D-35 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar. Built at the infamous Westerly, Rhode Island USA factory. This is a guitar with a lot of character. It is a "Players" guitar. There is some very cool wear marks on this Guild. Awesome Sound and Tone. These Vintage Guilds Sound and Play really great. ***HEADSTOCK REPAIR***Our Luthier repaired the Headstock on this Guild. The Guild had a hairline crack. Right where the neck meets the headstock. It is hard to see. (See picture #13-#15). You have to get it in the light just right in order to see it. Our luthier sprayed some clearcoat over the repair and you cannot feel it with your fingernail. Solid and Tight. Stays in Tune. Stronger than when it was new. The solid mahogany back and sides resonate beautifully and balance nicely with the bright solid spruce top, creating a very even tone that is really outstanding for a guitar at this price point. No kidding-this thing sounds better than many guitars at double its price. It comes professionally setup by luthier, and will arrive ready to play. Awesome sound and beautiful projection.Double bound solid mahogany back and sides with solid spruce top in natural finish with multi-ring white rosette, tortoise pickguard, and light rosewood bridge with white bridge pins. 15 3/4” lower bout width, with 5” depth. Upper bout measures 11 1/2" across, with 4 1/4" depth. Nicely rounded mahogany neck with white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape and showcases plenty of lovely variegation. Frets appear to be original, and still have a great deal of life left in them with only some visible wear in the first position. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Original tuners function as they should. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine. Our luthier did a complete setup. Brand new strings were installed. Gig ready on Arrival! Serial Number: #139724 Nut Width: 1 11/16Complete Package with Original Hard Shell Case Included! Due to CITES Treaty for Endangered Wood (Mahogany, Rosewood) We no longer ship out of the USA. Cosmetics: Very Good Condition. Other than the aforementioned Headstock Repair this guitar is in great shape for a 48 year old vintage Guild that as been played. There is some lacquer checking on the Top. Some light strumming scratches on the pickguard. The Back hassome light scratches from being held next to the players body. Neck, Fingerboard and Headstock in great shape. Case in good shape. Dripping with "Mojo". It is used. Not perfect. Overall, a really nice guitar. Look at the pictures closely.
