Description: Gorgeous early 1960s lighted globe, with the production date indicated by the inclusion of Rhodesia and Nyasaland. Made by Replogle and branded Better Homes and Gardens “True-to-Life.” The plasticized coating has burned through in a few small places due to using high-wattage bulbs. Currently have an LED 20-watt equivalent installed and that seems perfect for a low glow. I wouldn’t go above 40 watts equivalent. Sphere is 12 inches in diameter. With stand, the globe is approximately 15 inches high.
