Vintage 1964 Girdermatic #32 Girder and Panel Kenner set 99% complete exc. cond.

Description: Rare Kenner Girdermatic #32 set in excellent condition This is a "collector" set complete except top cover Wow, this is definitely a "collector" set in excellent condition.I have counted all the parts, they are all there!Beautiful color instruction booklet and information sheet. Unusual set that is rarely seen for sale, very few made, few survived. Kenner made many unusual parts for Girdermatic, never seen in theearlier building and bridge-turnpike sets, and never seen again after 1970. Girdermatic was Kenner's last desperate attempt to keep the girder and panel concept interesting to kids. Lego was impacting their sales. #32 was second to last set by Kenner, #33 was the last set, basically it was like two #32 combined. Ultra rare!!! Girder and Panel trademark and patents were transferred to General Mills who went on to make new sets from 1971-1980. I do not think they were very successful. They never re-made the 2 Girdermatic sets. This set will be fully insured for the Ebay purchase price. Because I have taken the time to research these sets, I am selling you a set that has been carefully reviewed for completeness and the best quality I can find. Many Ebay sellers mean well and say "well it looks like it is all there" but you can tell from the photos they offer that the set is a mixture of different sets all piled into a box. Who knows what is in there? Understand that these sets are now over 50 years old. If you intend to play with it, I remind you of the age of the material and how fragile some of it can be. Motors have not been used in 50 years and may take work on your part to get them going. I cannot and do not guarantee the operation of motors. It is beyond my control. The box top is missing, which is very common with these sets. The top was made of flimsy plastic that would crack within a few weeks of play. The item is sold "as-is."
