Description: Vintage 1960s/70s Mid-Century Modern Austria Vase - Organic Structure - WOW! This is one beautifully constructed vase! Stunning! The top is done in a gloss orange glaze with soft molded-in ripples under the glaze. The interior is done in a deep brown (nearly black) gloss glaze. The bottom of the exterior - WOW! - fantastic organic vine-like molding done in a matte finish speckled brown almost giving it the appearance of a tree trunk encased in vines. Simply stunning! Overall about 11-3/4" tall. Marked Austria and 4274-30 (4274 for the shape, 30 for the height in cm). Unknown maker, but influences of Carsten-T and other MCM makers of the era.
