Description: *Hello and thank you for your interest in our listing. We kindly ask that you thoroughly read the entire listing, and carefully inspect all of the photographs. Great time and effort have gone into providing all of the relevant information to ensure the highest probability of a trouble-free and enjoyable experience for both buyer and seller. We offer the following on request, all free of charge prior to dispatch: Bracelet adjustments, alternative bracelets or straps in a wide range of colours, timegrapher regulation for mechanical watches, pressure testing for watches rated at 100 meters (10 BAR) and above, and gift wrapping. Here we have a a beautiful vintage Swiss-made Rotary mechanical timepiece, which has been fully professionally serviced and refurbished by us; and is looking wonderful for it! This watch is a joy on the wrist with its 34mm case diameter, large dial, and slender 8mm case thickness (most of which is the domed acrylic crystal). We have finished this timepiece of with a premium, soft leather strap which we think suits it well. Powered by the Pesueux Cal. 330 manual wind 17 jewel mechanical movement, which beats at 18,000 VPH, and has approximately 43-hours of power reserve (when new). Condition: Excellent for its age. There is age-related wear to the case, which isn't a big deal thanks to the super thin case. This timepiece looks fantastic on the wrist. This beautiful old watch has had the following work has been carried out: • Fully stripped down to every single component for thorough cleaning and servicing. • Manual pre-cleaning followed by a 4-stage ultrasonic cleaning (movement components, case, case back, and crown/stem). • Movement reassembly, methodical re-oiling, and greasing. • Movement ran for 24 hours before timegrapher regulation. • Final assembly • Acrylic crystal polished. • Caseback mild hand-polish. • New, soft brown leather strap. When purchasing a vintage mechanical timepiece it is wise to set your expectations. Older, lower-cost movements with some wear and tear will never be chronometers!A modern equivalent TMI movement has a factory tolerance as much as - 20 to + 40 seconds per day! If accuracy is what you are looking for, please buy a modern quartz. The goal of the refurbishment and service is to bring this timepiece back to running condition to ensure many years of enjoyment. This example has been keeping good time. * Please do not shower, swim, or submerge this vintage timepiece. Vintage watches often have little or no water resistance. Treating your watch as NOT water resistant is always best practice unless otherwise stated in the description. Items are collected the next working day via Royal Mail. Our collection time is usually around 9.00 a.m. Monday through Saturday. Royal Mail 24 Tracked is available for as little as £1.50 and can be selected during checkout. (Other UK postage options are available on request for an additional cost) All overseas shipping is provided by the eBay Global Shipping Programme (GSP). Shipping costs, taxes, customs, and fees are paid directly to GSP. After your purchase, GSP provides us with a shipping label with your name, a unique reference number, and an address for the GSP unit in Great Britain. Once GSP receives the purchased item from us it, will then be shipped overseas to the address supplied to them by the buyer. Packaging: We are a very small business and we run a home workshop setup, so items may be sent in unbranded or reused boxes in the interest of recycling and cost saving. This is one way how we can continue to offer free UK shipping through rising postage and packaging costs. Gift wrapping is available on request. HAVE AN ISSUE WITH YOUR PURCHASE? If so, reaching out and talking to us is really important! We will go to great lengths to resolve any issues, whether postage-related, faulty or damaged items or something else entirely. Reach out, and let us help you. All customers are provided with an A4 leaflet that includes multiple ways to contact us. Please DO NOT open a returns request without speaking to us first ? eBay does not look after its genuine and honest sellers in the slightest. Unfortunately this option can be abused unfairly. And please remember that leaving unfair negative feedback for issues that we were either not informed about or are issues that are outside of our control, is extremely damaging and unfair. Just talk to us first, please. We care greatly! NO FREE RETURNS POSTAGE(On items that are NOT damaged or faulty!) We apologize for this. We are too small to offer free returns on watches or other items unless the items are defective or damaged. Large retailers may offer free returns if you change your mind or find the watch does not fit how you hoped it would. We cannot do this! Bear in mind that once a watch has been removed from its original packaging and sized up for the wearer, it is devalued and can no longer be resold as a 'new' watch. The loss in value, return postage, and re-listing fees would far exceed what little profit we make. This is also why great effort goes into detailed listings so that buyers know what they are buying. This is also another way that we can continue to offer free shipping on purchases. Questions should always be asked if you need clarification before making a purchase; we are MORE than willing to help. NO OVERSEAS RETURNS! This is very important. Consider this carefully when thinking about purchasing one of our watches from overseas. We cannot offer this service due to factors such as customs charges (which apply in your country as well as ours and are entirely out of our control), and often very expensive shipping costs - which would far exceed what little profit we make on such transactions. Thus, we can only continue offering our watches to those overseas by not offering free or return postage! CUSTOMS & IMPORT TAXES/FEES are completely outside of our control. These are factored in by the Global Shipping Program (GSP) and other countries' border customs/governments. WHO ARE WE? We are Jason and Kim, husband and wife, best friends; together, we are 'KimSon' LFTR Watchmakers. 'LFTR' pays homage to my (Jason?s) former career as a Nuclear Engineer designing fuelling systems for nuclear reactors. We are passionate watch enthusiasts, but we are equally passionate about running good ?old-fashioned? small business. We have all been customers who feel our custom needs to be more appreciated and whose service frustrates us. We want to run a small business that allows us to build great relationships with long-term customers, to offer a personal service, and go that extra mile, or more, for those who choose us to provide the best service possible. We want to share our love of watches and the stories that often come with them, and to offer affordable services for all.We genuinely appreciate you. Customers who abuse eBay policies to take advantage of sellers or choose to be rude and abusive will be blocked from purchasing from us. Most people out there are incredibly wonderful, but as we all know, there are always a few who are a little less wonderful. We (me and my lovely wife, Kim) put a HUGE amount of effort into giving our customers a pleasant buyer experience; we treat people fairly, politely, and professionally, and put the customer?s satisfaction first ? for this reason, we will not tolerate individuals who wish to take advantage of us, or treat us as though we are a giant, heartless corporation... I assure you that we are most certainly not; thus, we do not wish to be treated as such. What does it mean to buy a refurbished watch? We buy pre-owned, vintage, and new/old stock watches that may look a little sorry for themselves. Watches we purchase for refurbishment have often been left in a drawer; some are unwanted gifts or forgotten about when someone buys a new watch. We take those watches and give them a second life; this is also an excellent way to recycle and reduce waste! First and foremost, this means stripping the watch down to remove the movement and dial so the following work can be done ? ULTRASONIC CLEANING: The watch case, case back, bracelet, setting stem, and crown are thoroughly cleaned with an ultrasonic cleaner. Nylon straps can also be cleaned this way.More delicate plastic parts will be cleaned by hand to prevent damage. BATTERY REPLACEMENT: Battery-powered watches are fitted with a new cell(s). We only use premium brands such as Renata, Panasonic, Rayovac, Murata, or Maxell). I?m a stickler for this! CRYSTAL POLISH OR REPLACEMENT: After watch cleaning, the crystal (watch face) may be replaced if excessively scratched or damaged (for both mineral and acrylic glass crystals) or polished if they are acrylic plastic crystals. POLISHING: Stainless steel cases, case backs, and bracelets may be given a light polish, and re-brushed where required. Cases that are plated base metals cannot always be safely polished due to high risk of removing too much plating. In some cases, we will use a low-cut, filler-glaze, and wax-based polish to help improve and protect scuffed plating. Bracelets and claps with a brushed finish will be re-brushed after polishing. MOVEMENT REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT: Watches that arrive to us with a faulty battery-powered quartz movement, or digital module, will either be replaced with a new or reconditioned item, or repaired with new or used parts (This will always be mentioned in the listing description). If a quartz movement is working it will be placed back into the watch on reassembly - this is often the case.Mechanical movements will be inspected for obvious signs of issues and checked using a timegrapher to ensure they are fit for sale and operating as they should be. GASKETS AND O-RINGS: Upon reassembly the case back gasket will almost always be replaced unless the original is a special design or is still in satisfactory condition. Gasket will always be greased with silicone grease to ensure the best possible water resistance, and to protect the seal from mechanical damage when refitting. The crown/crown-tube seals or pusher o-ring(s) will be replaced if necessary and re-greased as above. If a watch is fitted with additional pushers these will be removed and the same process is applied. FINISHING TOUCHES: The icing on the cake is a new strap or bracelet to finish off the refurbishment. **Refurbishment does NOT include major in-depth restoration or servicing of quartz or mechanical movements. Watches that have undergone restoration and servicing will be listed as such in the description. Thank you so much for taking the time to read these lengthy listings but they are lengthy in order to help everyone have the most trouble-free and enjoyable experience possible. Kindest regardsJason & Kim, KimSon LFTR Watchmakers
