Description: DATING TO THE 1970’S THIS SET WAS ACQUIRED FROM THE SHARPE COLLECTION IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. TWO PIECE IN CONSTRUCTION. FASHIONED OF A BLACK WOOL POLY BLEND. ROUNDED FRONT TO THE BOTTOM OF THE JACKET WITH PIPED ANGLED POCKETS ON EACH SIDE OF THE FRONT, POCKETS ARE STITCHED CLOSED. SILVER TONE METAL HORSE AND HORSE SHOE DETAILS ARE ON EACH CUFF WITH A TRIPLE HORSE HEAD PIN ON THE LEFT CHEST AND A HORSE AND CHAIN DETAILED BUCKLE CLOSURE. PANTS ARE IN MATCHING FABRIC WITH THE HORSE DETAILS RUNNING ALL THE WAY DOWN THE SIDES, FIFTEEN ON EACH SIDE. WIDE BELT LOOPS AT THE TOP. METAL ZIPPER CLOSES. CONDITION: THIS SUIT IS SOLD AS IT WAS ACQUIRED. THE PANTS HAVE BEEN PARTIALLY DECONSTRUCTED. THE FLY HAS THE ZIPPER LOOSE ALL ALONG THE LEFT SIDE WITH THE WAISTBAND ON THE INTERIOR MISSING A SECTION OF FABRIC AT THE CLOSURE. TWO OF THE HORSE DETAILS ARE LOOSE AT THE SIDE AND I SUSPECT ONE WAS REMOVED FROM EACH SIDE OF THE TOP. THE REAR SEAT HAS THE SEAM UNDONE AND THERE IS A VERY FAINT THUMBPRINT OF A SURFACE STAIN BENEATH THE BELT ON THE REAR RIGHT SIDE. THE JACKET HAS THE BUCKLE PINNED ON ONE SIDE AND I WOULD STITCH IT BACK INTO PLACE. SOLD AS IT WAS ACQUIRED FROM THE COLLECTION.
