(If you have serious interest, please contact for a direct offer) The Silvertone 1300 by Danelectro is a single-pickup semi-hollow body guitar made of Masonite and shaped similar to a Les Paul model guitar. It was made from the years 1958 to 1959. It has a brown sparkle finish that matched the covering on the Silvertone 1451 amplifier and a Coke bottle shaped headstock. This guitar was sold in the 1959 Sears Christmas Wishbook.Construction materials used by Danelectro in this period are quite unusual for guitar making. The body is made of a poplar wood frame with Masonite used for both the top and back, with the side of the body being bound with creme colored vinyl.This is a very cool guitar in excellent condition.
