Description: Vintage 1959 CSHN Selmer Futurama III Sunburst George Harrison Guitar *1950s* This is a truly stunning and truly rare EARLY example of this classic guitar. Many many pictures of these guitars being played by the likes of George Harrison, Jimmy Page, etc. They were the slightly more affordable and easier to get hold of 'Fender Stratocaster' in the UK. This one I purchased from a studio, who'd had this for many years. This is the second version of the famous Futurama as used by George Harrison and Jimmy page etc. This one is pretty much identical to George’s and was produced in 1959 for Selmer by the Czechoslovakia company called CSHN (or Czechoslovak Music Instruments in English). It’s got the 3aside machine heads like George’s and the side mounted jack socket. Just to confirm, the black cover on the back is not hiding anything ugly, it was placed there to stop buckle rash. It is removable, but it'll be a slow process for sure. Otherwise it is in wonderful condition and is built to such a high quality, and one of the nicest examples you'll see.
