Description: Vintage 1950’s Japanese Tin Litho Friction Fighter Plane & Cadillac Car This lot includes a vintage tin lithographed Fighter Plane and a Cadillac Friction Car, both made in Japan. Vintage Japanese F80 tin friction single prop fighter plane. The colorful blue and silver plane displays the F80 insignia on the tail and the number 6021 on the fuselage with USAF lettering and insignia on the wings. The propeller is missing, and the friction drive does not work well. The plane shows surface scratches and wear consistent with age and play and the left wing is loose, but this vintage aircraft piece displays well. The plane is 2.5” tall and measures 5.5” in length with an 8” wingspan. The manufacturer is unknown (ATC?). Also included is a tin litho friction Cadillac Car by Nakamura (NT) of Japan, circa 1950’s. This car maintains its bright blue color with white pin striping and a lithographed interior. The car’s friction drive does not work well but the car is in overall very good condition with only minor wear due to age and play. The car measures 4.5” in length and is 2.25” wide with a height of 2”. Both of these vintage Japanese friction toys would make a great addition to any toy collection, or antique dealer’s stock. Thanks for taking a look!
